“I certainly had my doubts going into my first ever reiki session AND it was a distance session. However, Yvette asked me to give it a chance and if I wasn’t satisfied, she would be more than happy to refund me. I had nothing to lose. I wanted to try this with Yvette specifically as she has been a good friend of my mom’s for many years but mostly because my sister had done an in person session and had a beautiful experience. I will also add that there is a wonderful and warm vibe that Yvette radiates and if you know her, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Yvette and I spoke on the phone first and she explained exactly what she was going to do and what I should be doing. We hung up and I settled in and closed my eyes. Within minutes I was overcome with emotion and started crying. What was happening?! Where was this come from?! This lasted a few minutes and then I just kind of melted into a very relaxed state. I recall seeing soft bursts of yellow and greens behind my eyelids, thoughts of loved ones that had passed on and just having an overall feeling of serenity and peace. I’m not sure if I fell asleep but when my timer went off, I remember thinking there is no way it’s been 45 minutes! I called Yvette back and we talked about my experience and then she shared with me what she had seen and felt during our session. She was spot on with so many things. It was a wonderful healing experience, one I will be doing again.”
